MRI
Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) uses magnetic field energy through radio waves to produce images of the internal structures of your body. At Highline Radiology we use a 1.5 Tesla High Field MRI with a short and wide bore. The high magnetic field (1.5 Tesla) enables acquisition of high resolution images to facilitate an in-depth analysis of the images and provide for the most accurate diagnosis. The short and wide bore minimizes claustrophobia and provides for a pleasant patient experience.
MRI provides excellent contrast in the soft tissues of the body making it useful in the imaging of the musculoskelatal system, brain, heart, and cancer. The higher quality of these images allow for more thorough diagnosis of your condition or injury.
Digital X-Rays
An X-ray (radiograph) uses low-dose radiation to produce quick, painless, and inexpensive images of the internal structures of the body. X-ray has been around for a while but we use advanced digital imaging equipment to improve the usefulness of our radiographs.
Musculoskeletal Imaging
Dr. Borukhov’s specialty! This imaging is specific to the diagnosis of the disease processes affecting the bones, joints and spine.
Emergency and Trauma Imaging
This type of imaging focuses on diagnosing acute illness or injury. Our high quality imaging practice provides the reports needed for your physician to further their care.
